Coaching areas of support

Relationship with Self

Deepen your understanding of yourself and strengthen trust in your own experience.

This may include exploring your values, identity, needs, desires, patterns and priorities, as well as the expectations you have taken in from other people, relationships, families, workplaces, or the broader culture around you.

We may pay attention to what your thoughts, emotions, and body are communicating and become curious about the different things pulling at you—particularly when fear, uncertainty, habit, or external expectations make it difficult to know what you actually think or want.

Self-trust doesn't mean always having the answer. It means developing a stronger relationship with yourself so that you can stay curious, tolerate uncertainty, discern what matters, and make choices you can stand behind.

Relationship with Others

Explore how to create meaningful connection with other people without losing connection with yourself.

Relationships can bring out some of our deepest needs, fears, assumptions, and patterns. We may find ourselves accommodating, withdrawing, overexplaining, avoiding conflict, taking responsibility for other people's feelings, or struggling to express what we need when connection feels at risk.

Our work may include communication, boundaries, expectations, conflict, vulnerability, relational patterns, and fear of rejection or disconnection.

Rather than looking for a formula for the "right" way to relate, we become curious about what happens between you and other people—and what might create more room for openness, mutuality, choice, and genuine connection.

Relationship with the Life You're Building

Consider whether the life you are living reflects what actually matters to you.

Sometimes the question isn't simply What do I want? But does the way I am living make room for it?

We can look at your priorities, commitments, relationships, boundaries, routines, responsibilities, and the ways you use your time and energy.

You may be navigating competing priorities or a period of transition. You may have built a life around expectations that no longer fit. Or you may know what matters to you but struggle to translate that understanding into everyday choices.

Together, we can explore what is working, what isn't, and what practical changes might help your life feel more sustainable, intentional, and genuinely your own.

My Approach

My Approach

Curiosity is at the centre of my work.

I don't assume that I know what your life should look like, and you don't need to arrive knowing exactly what you want to change.

We can start wherever you are.

I bring warmth, curiosity, and close attention to our conversations. My role is to create a space where you can say the things you haven't quite found words for yet, follow thoughts without having to know where they are going, question assumptions you have lived with for a long time, and be honest about things that may feel contradictory, uncertain, or difficult to make sense of.

There is room for complexity here.

There is also room for humour, humanity, and the ordinary messiness of figuring things out.

My approach is integrative and relational. My graduate study in Integrative Psychology, coaching training, and ongoing professional development draw on attachment theory, development and trauma-informed practices. Modalities I have study include somatic, narrative, cognitive, parts-based, and existential.

You don't need to know those frameworks for us to work together. They inform the questions I ask, what I listen for, and the different ways we might make sense of what you are experiencing.

In practice, we might explore the stories you hold about yourself, the beliefs and assumptions influencing your choices, what you notice in your body, patterns that emerge in relationships, or larger questions about identity, meaning, values, and how you want to live.

We may look backward when understanding earlier experiences helps make sense of something happening now. But the purpose is not simply to understand your past. It is to give you greater freedom and choice in the present.

I also bring the structure and forward movement of professional coaching.

Sometimes our work will be deeply reflective. Sometimes it will be practical. Often it will be both.

We might spend time understanding why something feels difficult and then consider what conversation, boundary, experiment, structure, or next step could help you move forward.

There is no pressure to turn every insight immediately into action. Change has its own pace. But when you are ready, we can work together to bring what you are learning about yourself into the way you actually live.

Coaching vs. Therapy

My work is coaching rather than psychotherapy.

That means our work is oriented toward greater self-understanding, choice, growth, and the way you want to live moving forward.

Psychological perspectives may inform my approach, and past experiences may be relevant to understanding the present, but I do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.

For some people, coaching and therapy can also complement one another. If something arises that would be better supported within therapy or another form of care, we can talk openly about that.
