About Jillian

Hi! I'm Jillian, an ICF Associate Certified Coach with more than 20 years of professional experience across the non-profit and private sectors.

My graduate studies in Integrative Psychology, coaching training and ongoing professional development all inform the way I work.

Neurodivergence (ND) is part of the world I know closely, through both my personal life and my professional work. I have ADHD myself, and my experience includes navigating ADHD and autism within family relationships. Advocating for accommodations and supporting others to find their way through larger community systems can be a lot!

Much of my professional work has  been ND centred as well, designing and managing service delivery within the disability services sector. In that work, I saw how individualized systems, structures, and routines created opportunity for calmer nervous systems and improved quality of life.

These experiences have deepened my appreciation for how much effort can go unseen and for how much one can be masking and holding in silence. The difference that understanding, supportive relationships, and practical daily approaches can make is profound.

Often, we need room to soften toward ourselves—to meet our own experience with the compassion we also need from those alongside us.

I bring this familiarity to coaching while staying curious about the experiences that are unique to you and what matters in your life.

The quality I care most about bringing to this work is presence.

I want our conversations to feel like a place where you don't have to perform, have the right answer, make yourself easier to understand, or arrive with everything neatly figured out.

I'm genuinely interested in people—in how we become who we are, why we do the things we do, what happens between us in relationships, and how we find our own way through lives that are rarely as straightforward as we might wish they were.

Clients can bring uncertainty, contradictions, unfinished thoughts, humour, frustration, difficult questions, and the parts of themselves they are still trying to understand.

We can be curious about all of it.

My role isn't to hand you a prescribed way of living. It's to listen closely, notice with you, ask questions that help us look beneath the obvious, offer perspective when it is useful, and sometimes gently challenge what may be keeping you stuck.

Over time, that can create more room to understand yourself, trust yourself, relate to others more honestly, and make intentional choices about the life you want to build.
